In this time of year, our local churches and pastors face
the prospect of change for the upcoming appointment year. With change
comes disruption of the familiar, opening the door for new experiences,
ranging from the unsettling to the renewing.
Appointment week begins March 7th. Your prayers will help in preparation and in receiving the Spirit's direction. ***************************************************************
Haiti is facing an uncertain future. Through the Holston Conference, $355,715 has been collected in record time of 17 days to help bring relief to the victims of the Haiti earthquake. The people of Holston has given an outpouring of support through monetary donations as well as health kits with more on the way. Members of FUMC contributed 16 health kits and $1,326 to assist in the recovery efforts. Thank you so much for your generosity.
